The characteristics of emotional resilience of an individual in socially significant and emotionally unfavourable situations (belief in own ability to control one’s emotional manifestations); balance of emotional manifestations; resilience of models of interaction; ability to control the whole process of interaction; ability to evaluate adequatelyand anticipate emotional manifestations; ability to vary systems of behaviour activation (shift from objective to metaobjective and vice versa); ability to reflect and empathize; basis on own positive and negative experience of overcoming unfavourable emotional state. Low level of emotional resilience is related to increased vulnerability; inhibition, isolation, stubbornness, and negativity; frequent change of emotions to the opposite; variability of mood; fixation on negative aspects of life and inability to live happy moments; unhealthy pessimism, anxiety, and fear.
