Abstract

At the elementary school, in accordance with the Concept of the New Ukrainian School, an integrated course in the natural science direction "I'm exploring the world" was developed, which contains both natural science and socio-civic components. It allows to introduce elements of natural, engineering, technological education. It is for this course that it is proposed to create school science, engineering and technology classrooms (STEM-laboratories or STEM-classrooms) in elementary school. These study rooms are also interactive mini-museums of interesting science.
