Abstract

The thesis substantiates the relevance and importance of the use of project activity as a way of organizing the work of elementary school students on the text, its features are considered. In particular, the attention of readers is focused on the specifics of the teacher's functions, planning of project activity, its stages, species diversity. The requirements, which are necessary for successful use in the educational process of elementary school of the project method during the work of students on the text, are given, examples of the corresponding projects are listed.
