Abstract

Competently oriented learning of foreign languages in elementary school should be considered as the ability of students according to age peculiarities and potential opportunities to consciously perform educational actions that ensure mastery of foreign language communication in oral and written forms within the spheres, topics, situations established by the curriculum. The competent personality of a primary school student, based on the results of learning a foreign language, within the requirements of the curriculum should be able to demonstrate the ability to use foreign language information, outlined by its communicative needs and presented by the social environment.
