Abstract

In the article the author focuses on the didactic importance of special philological courses in the process of formation of cultural-linguistic and moral-civic values ​​in the applicants for profile education (on the example of the Kyiv Gymnasium of Oriental Languages ​​# 1, which works on its curriculum and programs, textbooks on Oriental languages, developed by high school teachers and university educators and scholars). The cultural approach to the educational activity makes it possible to achieve a higher level of formation of the cultural competence of the individual as a product of the dialogue of cultures. The main purpose of the variable educational component is seen not only in expanding the knowledge of pupils in specialized subjects, but also in comprehensively involving them in the history of the countries of the East - culture and traditions, introducing pupils into the peculiar spiritual atmosphere of the peoples of this region.
