Abstract

The reasons for the lack of effectiveness of traditional recommendations for correctional parents of parents raising a child with special educational needs are considered. The directions of work with parents of this category are determined and some forms of work with them are considered. It was stated that inclusive resource centers can and should become centers that are capable of providing parents with comprehensive psychological and pedagogical assistance. The main tasks concerning the psychological and pedagogical assistance to parents raising a child with special educational needs, which should be realized by the employees of inclusive-resource centers, are outlined.
