Abstract

Communication processes periods of tension at interpersonal and interstate levels are outlined on the basis of modern processes of globalization and interstate «blurring of distinction» analysis. It is defined that a source of all problems is state multicultural policy blunders and an educational assimilation. An importance of tolerance education as an intersubjective interaction basis at all levels of human life is proved. Not only a desired type of behavior is viewed in it as a universal attitude form to other values, mindsets, senses, but in some cases – a philosophical imperative. The philosophical understanding of tolerance in axiological discourse is explained. In such a case, special emphasis is placed on interpersonal tolerance as a special way of relationships formation, interpersonal interaction and communication with other people, which performs a number of highly signifacant social and communicative, and educational functions. Tolerance is a viable lesson to «education – for peace», which must carry out an important humanitarian mission, helping to understand the world and yourself, to bring a young man to a new level of life, to ensure the comfort of his/her existence in society, to assist in his/her potential realization effectively. It is noted that all these issues demand a new model of «education for peace», which should be based on the principles of anthropocentrism, tolerance, dialogics and sociability. In order to make architectonics of this model to be viable, it must be based on the five identified by us methodological principles that can provide an answer to the fateful question: how to learn living in peace and harmony?
