Abstract

The article presents the specifics of the values inherent in older people, which determine the meaning of their life. Key questions are identified as peculiar signals of the mental picture of people of mature age. First of all, life is of interest in the perception of a mature person and the social situation in which she is. Fully advisable is the disclosure of family and personal relationships in adulthood, the specifics of communication, its value orientation, orientation to the past, present and future. The problematic aspects that are directly related to the psychological characteristics of people of mature age are identified, the central intentions and the meaning of the ups and downs of the elderly are revealed.
