Abstract

The article deals with the problem of health and a healthy lifestyle in modern psychological research. The main directions of these studies are determined. The relevance of the research topic is substantiated. Determinants of health are considered. Theoretical analysis of the phenomenon of "health" describes health as a personal and social value. A healthy lifestyle is considered as the basis for disease prevention. A healthy lifestyle is a way of life. it corresponds to the genetically determined typological characteristics of a person corresponding to specific conditions of life. It is aimed at the formation, storage and promotion of health and the full performance of human social and biological functions. It has been established that in the psychology of health there are many theories and approaches that have a number of methodological and research problems. The prospect of further research is to overcome the difficulties of a methodological nature, the development of theoretical foundations and strengthening the connection of psychology with medicine and related sciences.
