Abstract
In the article the author tells about the requirements for holding the competition, the number of participants representing all regions of Ukraine, the qualitative composition of the jury, which was presented by both teachers and scholars of geography and pedagogy. The content of the article reveals the algorithm of passing various nominations: research, practicum, lesson, at the end of which points were accumulated, which made it possible to determine the winner. At each test stage, teachers demonstrated a high level of proficiency in the subject's teaching methodology, presented their own work experience, their pedagogical ideas and achievements, and a creative approach to the use of modern innovative technologies. Teachers have shown that they are able to compete and win and with their tireless work they are ready to update the modern education.
