Abstract

The article highlights the importance of Ukrainian Geographical Society. Shown lines of its educational activities. There is a positive association role in solving a number of problems, now faces domestic geographic education. Outlines a range of issues where the teaching activities of the company may have a positive impact on the optimization of geographical education, including assistance in the renewal of geographical component of state educational standards and curricula, improve the level of methodological support secondary schools.
