Abstract
From June 9 to 17, 2007, the Fourteenth International Conference "Crimea" - "Libraries and information resources in the modern world of science, culture, education and business" was held in the city of Sudak, which is a world professional forum for library specialists, publishers, book trade organizations, museums, archives, universities, institutions of science, culture, education, computer and Internet companies, business, law. The main theme of this year's conference was the discussion of the role of electronic information and electronic libraries in advancing the knowledge-based society.
