Abstract

The article deals with the psychological nature of the trauma of war, which is defined as the result of the impact on the person of the traumatic event of the war and is an overpowering stress that exceeded its experience. For a warrior, a trauma of war can take place both in training and in combat situations. The author analyzes the trauma of the war through the prism of her presentation in the media. The analysis of military media content in the format of art tapes presents the drama of a soldier's psychology in terms of training, combat, intensive negative influences, as well as the social, psychological problems of the veteran after returning to a peaceful life. The author distributes films of war themes based on their psychological influence on three types: film-resources, film-risk, neutral. Media psychological resources are one of the means of stabilizing the emotional state of veterans and are realized through a purposeful review of artistic, military media content, with the help of elements of psychological education and the use of techniques of cinematology. That is, it is partly possible to overcome the trauma of war by obtaining information from films about psychological violations of veterans and analyzing the behavior of film characters and rethinking their own behavior.
