Abstract

Most physiological processes in all living organisms are circadian. The study of circadian regulation system showed that one of the main links of photoperiodic system, along with hypothalamic suprachiasmatic nuclei, is pineal gland or its hormone melatonin. Now that the role of pineal gland in the circadian system has been sufficiently described, it has become possible to develop a complex of peptide regulators using the achievements of molecular biology. In this work we would like to present the results of studying the biological effect of Epithalamin and Epitalon.
