Abstract
The article highlights the importance of Ukrainian Geographical Society in the light of its educational activities. There is a positive association role in solving a number of problems, now faces domestic geographic education. Outlines areas where educational activities of the company can positively affect the optimization of the semantic content of geographic education, promote the renewal of geographical component of state educational standards and curricula, improve the level of methodological support educators.
