Abstract

The article outlines the problem of high school pupils’ value sphere by means of school education content guided by V. O. Sukhomlynskyi’s ideas. It focuses on the peculiarities of high school age. The author analyzed inclinations and preferences of today’s high school pupils. The necessity to prevent the occurrence of negative behavior through reflective problem-solving situations, specially designed in the content of school education, is proven. The relevance of V. O. Sukhomlynskyi’s pedagogical heritage for moral improvement of high school students as future Ukrainian state builders is specified.
