Abstract
The article topic is the problem of enrichment of the language of primary school pupils with expressive means of the languge. Here the method is shown of work with comparisons, epithets, metaphors, phraseologisms on the Ukrainian language lessons. Examples of exercises and tasks for learning and use of expressive means of language are offered.
