Abstract

The draft Conception of a comprehensive school in Ukraine is being discussed, the factual content of modern education and the one expected as a result of school reform are compared. The team of developers of the model of education for sustainable development "Dovkillya" expressed its vision of education in terms of the needs of the individual pupil, society and state concerning integrity and factual content of education, their impact on the formation of competencies of the pupils, the future of society and the directions of modernization of the content of education.
