Abstract
In the article, the scientific basis, the methodological aspects of the pedagogical designing of the profession-oriented content of teaching technologies at high school are defined and specified. The scientific basis for designing the content includes: conceptual bases of the profession-oriented training, theoretical and methodological principles and provisions of the process of the pedagogical content design, the stages of the educational content design, the conceptually defined approaches and regulations, the principles of designing the content and the criteria for its selection, the conceptual provisions on the formation of a creative personality, innovative approaches of structuring the content model. It is proposed to understand the term design methodology as a scientifically based system that includes the abovementioned issues.
