Abstract

The article deals with the way of life of Ushynsʹkyy Kostyantyn Dmytrovych, an outstanding teacher, founder of scientific pedagogy and folk school, author of scientific papers on the theory and history of pedagogy, textbooks for elementary education. The scientific achievements of the scientist are presented in the article. It is identify that the scientific and pedagogical heritage of the scientist needs further research.
