Abstract

The article analyzes the genesis of the concept of "education", the main characteristics and features of modern education; It is shown that the modern educational system is open and satisfies all the requirements of the synergetic system (open, nonlinear, unbalanced, complex); The essence and methodological concepts of the new integrated sphere of knowledge of the sphere of education - educology are revealed.
