Abstract

The conceptions of the information society and its most perfect form – "society of knowledge" – are analyzed. The concept of "society of risk" in the presentation of the German researcher of the transformation of society Gotthard Behmann discusses the problem of risks and humanitarian security in the knowledge society and exacerbates the need for the pursuit of interdisciplinarity (access to the history of science, art and culture for finding models and methodological grounds for an integrated research), provided by dialogue and pluralization of knowledge in research and education. The article emphasizes that in the transition from scientific and technical and socio-economic policy to knowledge politics there is a need for the formation of a "new ethics" for expanding the global knowledge base, integrating earlier autonomous disciplines and forming, on their basis, interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary training programs, etc. In such circumstances, the role of innovation is growing, and knowledge becomes crucial for the development of other spheres of society. Significance becomes what is called "teaching dimension", and the role of knowledge and components of education is significantly increased. Consequently, such a widespread introduction of innovations dictates not only cooperation between the state, the sphere of technical and economic sciences and production, but also involves participation in this process of the world community. The researchers stress the need: the formation and spread of "new ethics" regarding joint ownership of knowledge and cooperation conditions; supporting and expanding the global knowledge base, contributing to the emergence of "science without borders"; integrating previously autonomous disciplines to form the basis for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary education programs.
