Abstract

The article describes the first stage of the study of senior preschoolers’ socialization levels in the process of exploring the native land in preschool education institutions – a level diagnosis that includes quantitative indicators of children's knowledge and their attitude to their native land. The data of qualitative and quantitative analysis of oral stories of children, results of knowledge of older preschool children about the native land by the method of projective drawing are given. Criteria are defined that will allow to reveal the effectiveness of this type of activity in the conditions of establishment of preschool education institution. In recent years, the problem of social development of preschool children is on the forefront. It includes issues related to the development of the child, his upbringing, socialization, social wellbeing and ability to interact with the world are. Establishing the foundations of social competence contributes to the optimal entry of the child into the social world, and the social competence of the child is perceived as ability to fulfill own needs through socially acceptable ways, to implement activity in interaction with others. The first social environment for a child is the institution of preschool education, where he continues to receive elementary knowledge and skills that will form the ability to navigate environment, to acquire social life experience in accordance with the age, adequately respond to phenomena, events, people and subjects of the world, and will provide an appropriate level of readiness for school.
