Abstract

In the article on the basis of comprehension of modern practice and theoretical approaches, the main dimensions of the problem «children and money» are proposed and disclosed, they are disclosed in the context of the peculiarities of the upbringing of the family upbringing, modem challenges and the role of the schooland, media as the main determinants of existing realities and the search for ways to optimize the formation of economic competence growing personality; actualized the problem of pocket money and the peculiarities of their spending by children.
