Abstract

The problem of the peculiarities of the spiritual values and the hardiness of personality in adolescence is analyzed in the article. Spirituality is regarded as the highest level of development and self-regulation of a mature personality, result of the adoption of universal values, ethical standards, spiritual culture. The analysis of concepts of spirituality and spiritual values of personality is carried out. It is showed that spirituality enables a person to form personal orientations that contribute to the transition from self-values to the common values of humanity. It is determined that important characteristics of adolescence are psychological readiness for adult life, the formation of vital-creative activity of a person, personal identity, personal and professional self-determination, independence, initiative and responsibility for own actions, adequate assessment of own abilities. It is presented results of studies of the peculiarities of the relationship of spiritual values, hardiness and quality of life of the personality in adolescence. It is revealed a direct significant relationship of hardiness with level of satisfaction with quality of life. A person with a high level of hardiness is characterized by optimism and active life position. It is revealed a direct significant relationship of spiritual values of the individual satisfaction with the health; with spiritual and religious support; with moral and emotional support of related people; with professional (business) support. It is revealed a reverse significant relationship of spiritual values of the personality with negative emotions. It is revealed a direct significant relationship of spiritual values of the personality with hardiness.
