Abstract
The characteristics of G.O. Ball creative heritage are outlined, that testify to its consonance with general scientific tendencies, with the demands of modern psychology, as well as the prospects of the scientist's ideas as the basis for searching for ways to overcome the fragmentation of psychological knowledge are determined.
