Abstract
The article raises questions related to the problems of the development of primary education. The author formulates answers to these questions taking into account the results of the analysis of many years of experience in reforming the primary education system in Ukraine. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of the All-Ukrainian experiment, which was opened in August 2016, the purpose of which is the development and justification of the didactic-methodological and educational support of the educational process in the context of the implementation of the basic conceptual provisions for the modernization of primary education. The article is addressed to teachers, scientists, who conduct research in the field of education, teachers of higher pedagogical educational institutions and postgraduate pedagogical education institutions, as well as to all those interested in this topic.
