Abstract

In part one of the manual reveals the essence of the basic principles of the functioning of the modern model of social work in society, namely: family-oriented approach, partnership, integration and interaction, team work; coordination and professional responsibility; maximum focus on the development of strengths and positive resources of recipients of services, families with children; their active participation in all processes. The manual contains descriptions of good practices, practical advice and tools for organizing and implementing social work, in particular on the early identification of vulnerable families with children, case management, assessing the needs of the child and his family, and the like. The views expressed in this publication cover the opinions of its authors and do not necessarily coincide with the policies and views of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
