Abstract
The article deals with the possibilities of applying psychological and hermeneutic approach to the issue of personality’s selfdesigning. Methodological coordinates of study of discourse, in particular, narrative self-designing are defined. It is shown that the personality’s ability to self-designing is determined by his abilities to interpret and comprehend his life and personal experience, which is accomplished by immersion into a sociocultural discursive space and by creation of his own semantic field.
