Abstract

The monograph presents the results of the study of the formation of value orientations of the educational process in out-of-school educational institutions (OEI), conducted by the Laboratory of Out-of-School Education of the Institute of Problems on Education of NAES of Ukraine. The materials contain a thorough analysis of the leading theoretical positions on the implementation of the axiological approach in out-of-school education. The values ​​that are formed in the cognitive and practical activity of pupils in OEI according to the basic directions of out-of-school education are determined. The publication highlights the significant aspects of the development of the out-of-school education of Ukraine in the context of contemporary educational tendencies, the theoretical basis of education of children and youth in out-of-school educational institutions on the basis of the axiological approach; the educational opportunities of these institutions are analyzed. The monograph is addressed to scientific and practical workers of the educational system, pedagogical workers of out-of-school educational institutions, post-graduate students, and students.
