Abstract
The theses provided brief information about school graduation examinations for certification in Ukraine, Georgia, the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China and Israel. In particular, the forms of these examinations and their titles are presented, the academic subjects from which the student (graduate) can pass the school final exams for certification purposes are listed, the subjects selection procedure the student (graduate) employ, as well the procedure of passing an exam is described, the experience of the countries as to making use of the results of school graduation exams with a view to certify the entrance exams in higher educational institutions of the country is highlighted.
