Abstract
The article attempts to summarize the experience and activities of Labor Education laboratory of the Institute of Problems on Education of the NAES of Ukraine, whose history has begun in the mid 80's of XX century. It describes some stages of research work of the laboratory and outlines the main directions of implementation of the resulting methodological achievements in the activities of general educational institutions for the last decade.
