Abstract

The article analyzes the case method in the postgraduate education of doctors. Case studies – the best, in our opinion, in a group learning situation analysis method. This is the traditional method, which includes a deep and detailed study of real or simulated situations. Using the teacher of this method on the one hand encourages the individual activity of students, forms a positive motivation to learn, reduces the number of "passive" and insecure students, provides a high efficiency of training and further development of professionals creates certain personal qualities and competence, and on the other makes it possible to to the teacher: selfimprovement, in other words to think and act, and update your own creativity.
