Abstract

The author considers political myth creating to have become indispensable feature of modern complicated and multidimensional reality. Myth has become a powerful means of the influence upon mass consciousness, an integral constituent of political management. In particular, the distinguishing of mythological constituent of election campaigns helps to broaden theoretical conception of political processes and to analyze the practice of political election.
