Abstract

The collective monograph was prepared by the scientists of the laboratory of consulting psychology and psychotherapy of the G.S. Kostiuk Institute of Psychology of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine. In this book, the peculiarities of the application of modern psychotherapeutic methods in the national socio-cultural space are considered. The theoretical and technological aspects of the application in modern socio-cultural environment methods of psychodynamic, existential, humanistic and systemic directions of psychotherapy are described based on: 1) the results of reflection on important trends in the development of the modern paradigm of psychotherapy; 2) understanding the philosophical and methodological foundations, historical and cultural preconditions of existing psychotherapeutic methods; 3) the results of the study of the influence of socio-cultural factors on the development of domestic theory and practice of psychotherapeutic care. The theoretical and methodological principles of the application of psychotherapeutic approaches are defined, in particular, for the psychotherapeutic study of actual problems clientin our country, methodical recommendations are provided that will help to provide psychologists-practitioners with new scientific knowledge and technologies of psychological counseling and psychotherapy. The monograph is aimed at psychologists - both academics and practitioners, teachers of higher education institutions, as well as all other professionals working in the field of psychological counseling and psychotherapy.
