Abstract
The report describes the theoretical and practical aspects of studying the issue of the development of pupils' management and leadership skills in Ukraine and Germany, summarizes the views of Ukrainian scholars about the nature of management for the optimal definition of the nature of managerial skills and determining leadership skills, information from the German websites on the skills of a successful manager and leader, the most important managerial and leadership competencies.
