Abstract
The article contains partial results of the empirical study of images of contemporary TV series' characters, which influence personality socialization. Peculiarities of value orientations of male and female characters of the comic series "Happy Together" are identified. It is concluded that value orientations which are implanted by the characters of TV series have negative impact on formation of value sphere of children and young people through mediasocialization. The problem concerned with long-term social consequences of the impact of TV series on kids' values is discussed
