Abstract

The article reveals the leading role of variable education component content of secondary and high school as an important component of continuing professional education. An author defined the tasks of teachers from terms of modernization of school education. The author substantiates conditions conducive for the students of secondary school and high school for the purpose of successful choice the profile of the training. The structural-functional content of variable component, the integration of axiological, cognitive, personal and creative components provides general and specific didactic functions of elective courses.
