Abstract

The dynamic development of the society on the threshold of the third millennium caused the perceptible civilizational changes, which essentially reflected on the development of all spheres of social practice, in particular, education. Such changes include: globalization and informatization of modern society, its transformation into a knowledge society, a priory society, an open society. Characteristic features of these societies are: strengthening integration and multiculturalism in education, its standardization, the formation of a single educational space, the introduction of the idea of ​​education during life, the development of distance education, adult education and postgraduate education, which are regarded as the basis for guaranteeing the quality of education at all levels and Contribute to strengthening the authority of countries in the international arena. Global civilizational changes determine the main direction of modernization of postgraduate education in Ukraine. According to the model: "global civilizational change" - "the problem of postgraduate education" - "the search for ways and the development of programs for its solution" - "their reflection in the content and forms of the organization of postgraduate teacher education "-" Accreditation and implementation of the relevant variational, diversified in the profiles of educational programs "-" monitoring the quality of their implementation. " The actual directions of the modernization of postgraduate pedagogical education in Ukraine in the context of globalization changes are: the development and implementation of flexible standards Postgraduate education based on the balance of their invariant and variable components; Strengthening the autonomy of institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education and their acquisition of the role of centers for providing and assessing the quality of postgraduate education at various levels (local, regional, national); Establishment of links with foreign universities and scientific institutions investigating the problems of postgraduate pedagogical education through the conclusion of agreements on educational cooperation and the establishment of UNESCO Chairs; Convergence of academic and university science, the development of scientific schools on various problems of postgraduate pedagogical education, etc.
