Abstract

The article deals with the role of intersubject integration in organising professionally oriented training secondary high schools. The author analyses foreign experience and works in on the Ukrainian didactics to questions of profiling of Ukrainian school and intersubject integration. The basic approaches to integration learning and interdisciplinary connections in high school are given. The key concepts are defined: professionally oriented school, integration of education, intersubject connections. It is indicated that intersubject integration must combine the relevant content of education, psychological support and technologization of pupils, educational content. In the current interpretation of professionally oriented education of schoolhigl intersubject integration combines the contents of adequate training, psychological support and technologization through the introduction of appropriate elective courses, learning variability depending on the purpose of training. The introduction of professionally oriented courses in high school should help pupils to get acquainted with new fields of knowledge, not represented in the content of non-profile and profile subjects, but focused on future profession in line with the selected profile; providing training senior pupils; deepening and expanding the content of individual sections of the profile objects; disclosure of practically-oriented aspects of knowledge acquired during the training. It was proved that professionally oriented education must be based on new foundations constructed on the content of training, new textbooks and teaching aids, changing the usual forms of educational process, integrating educational content and intersubjects relations. Thus, the transition to professionally oriented training should provide: 1) proper study of basic subjects of the school curriculum depending on the choice of profile; 2) the basis for differentiating the content of study and the possibility of realization of individual educational programs; 3) giving pupils the opportunity to get acquainted with the basics of modern industry, science, technology and culture; 4) the basis for pupils’ socialization and competitiveness; 5) continuity between general and vocational education; 6) formation of multidisciplinary competence.
