Abstract

"Visual media culture: the development of critical thinking and creative perception" guidelines are the supporting materials for one of the modules of electives for 10th grade students of "Media culture" secondary schools. "Media culture" school system is created by the Laboratory of Media psychology and media education of ISPP NAES of Ukraine. Its purpose is optimizing the implementation of media education and teaching courses on media culture and media literacy for seniors. The guidelines’ aim is help for teachers of media courses in the development of visual media culture, critical thinking and creative perception for students in modern visual media reality.
