Abstract
The articles in this book deal mainly with psychological assistance given to psychological trauma victims. The articles summarize the experience of the assistance to different categories of victims, discuss a model of medical-psychological rehabilitation of servicemen and demobilized soldiers, analyze the features of the psychotherapist-victim relations as well as the secondary traumatizatoin and burnout among volunteer-psychologists / therapists, etc. Special attention is given to understanding the current crisis in Ukraine based on the analysis of the Ukrainian mentality archetypes. The book is meant for specialists in counseling psychology and psychotherapy - both researchers and practitioners, university lecturers, students, post-graduate students and all those interested in the latest achievements of applied psychology, particularly those relevant to psychological aid to people affected by the crisis and / or traumatic events.
