Abstract
The article considers the self-identity problem of a person and community with respect to health. It presents such self-determination as a conscious choice and individual or communal consolidation of people’s positions in different situations as a process of comprehension, reconsideration and reproduction of purposes and life goals with respect to self-organization in the field of health and its maintenance. The main health maintenance ways are defined and it is stated that this requires intensifying of the potential and the use of resources both of a person, due to which people will be able to maintain and restore their health by themselves, and of a community to increase collective efforts to maintain health in the process of adaptation to the conditions and consequences of a military conflict. It is shown that self-identity of an individual / community regarding health will help maintain and restore their health, develop effective strategies for adaptation to the conditions and consequences of a military conflict.
