Abstract
The monograph - based on the analysis of the concept of “inclination for activity” and components of students research activity - singles out the structural components of inclination for research activity, presents the structure and content of the potential of gifted children inclined for it. It analyses the practice support of gifted children inclined for research activity in developed countries, as well as the analysis of international and national educational legislation as regards the students research activity support. It reveals organizational and pedagogical principles of support and development of gifted students inclined to research activity in educational institutions and different aspects of educational support of gifted students in the process of mastering the basics of scientific knowledge. The monograph presents approved methodological tools for selecting and supporting gifted children inclined to research activity, with fragments of didactic materials to prepare students for conducting research. It is also proposed a draft of regulation for providing educational services to children who are inclined for research activities outside an educational institution. For managers of educational institutions, teachers, educational and research supervisors of students research works, teacher trainers.
