Abstract

The article describes the problem of scaled disparity, professionally prepared focused hostile indoctrination such as attack on Ukrainian identity and the lack of effective psychological tools that can enable resisting to aggression which is provided with information in media. It is suggested that in terms of the information war resistance could be improved with personal patriotism. Patriotism is described as a subjective phenomenon and psychological resource of information security of personality. Common features of new patriots are defined. The meaning of forming media literacy for patriotic youth was outlined.
