Abstract

The problem of value attitude to other people as an important direction of humanistic education of the personality is brought up to date it this article. The main scientific studies on this topic are analyzed briefly. The notion of educational technology is defined more exactly, as a system of methods, techniques, procedures of display of humanistic-orientated content as well as pedagogically adequate conditions of educational activity that provides the proper level of education of the person based on theoretically grounded deep knowledge of the psychology of children. The essence of the reflective and explicit method elaborated by academician Ivan Bekh is presented. The technology of its using in the extracurricular activities to educate value attitude to others — representatives of non-traditional sexual orientation is developed in detail. In particular, different points of view on the problem of people with non-traditional sexual orientations are considered. Active methods of cooperation with children to develop rules of humane attitude towards homosexuals according to international law and the Constitution of Ukraine (1996) are disclosed. The process of children’s immersion in their inner world, understanding and discussion through using the reflective and explicit method for the purpose of education of school children’s value attitude to other people and respect for their human dignity is described.
