Abstract

The category of «dignity» as the supervalue that is involved in the formation of each personality, as an indicator of higher moral consciousness of the personality, is interpreted. The core research concept of «culture of dignity» is revealed as evaluative attitude towards themselves and other people. Three types of dignity such as human, personal (private) and national are considered. The results and conclusions of the statement phase of the experiment are submitted. The conditions of the education of dignity culture of primary schoolchildren in extracurricular activities are defined. Methods of training of dignity culture of schoolchildren in extracurricular activities are discovered. Educational possibilities of modern innovative methods of education are substantiated, in particular the leading among them — a reflective and explicit method, the basic foundation of which is the schoolchildren trust, their orientation to the good, nobleness, self-esteem, and, as a result, conceivable improvement of school life. With the help of applied materials, different versions of testing this method as independent and as increasing the effectiveness of interactive methods (projected, mini dispute, debate, «brainstorming» etc.) are disclosed, the effectiveness of their use in extracurricular activities are proved.
