Abstract

The paper deals with the development of Ukraine at the beginning of the third millennium, which is determined in the context of European integration with a focus on fundamental values of Western culture: parliamentarism, human rights, minority rights, liberalization, freedom of movement, limiting government's role in society and so on. In this article the trends in adult education in Ukraine at the beginning of the XXIst century are determined.
