Abstract

The author analyzes the problem of modernization of scientific and methodical support at methodological, general didactic and practical levels. The article grounds general scientific approaches to planning and realization of the system of the scientific and methodical support. The author defines innovative methodical work as a system of measures aimed at formation the development of new (innovative) ways of professional and pedagogical activities. To organize methodical work means to distribute functions of management and to fix certain order of their accomplishment. An important condition for the organization of innovative methodical work is determination of the criteria for evaluating its effectiveness. The author concludes that the scientific and methodical support of professional training should be regarded as a system, process, and outcome. Such approach enables the author to analyze the problem of modernization of scientific and methodical support on the methodological, general didactic and practical levels. Modernization in education on general didactic level has three aspects: the creation of regulatory and organizational mechanisms, mobilization of external and internal resources, and stimulation of qualities contributing to competitiveness. On a practical level methodical work is the subject of modernization.
