Abstract
In the article similarity and difference of adult education development in the Scandinavian countries and Ukraine are defined; characteristics of the Scandinavian adult education are proved; possibilities of usage of progressive ideas of the Scandinavian experience under reforming of adult education in Ukraine are defined and proved.
